Stronger Together
Catalyst Connect is a dynamic family of churches that emerged in South Africa, partnering with other churches and ministries across the globe.
We’re united in our passion to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission, working together to advance God’s Kingdom as we make disciples and impact our communities for Christ.
Through collaboration and shared vision, we seek to amplify our impact.
IDENTITY
Our
Mission
Our Being – Who We Are
To be a family of churches fulfilling the Great Commission of King Jesus together.
We are a family of churches committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of King Jesus together. Our identity is rooted in the life, love, and lordship of Jesus, and our calling flows from His command to make disciples of all nations. We are joined in heart, purpose, and spiritual DNA in God’s New Covenant of love.
VISION
Our
Vision
Our Becoming – Where We Are Going
To equip believers, develop leaders, grow new and existing churches as communities of God’s kingdom, through missional partnerships.
We envision equipping believers, developing leaders, and growing new and existing churches as communities of God’s Kingdom, through strategic, Spirit-led, missional partnerships.
VALUES
Our
Values
Our Believing – Why We Do What We Do
Our values are the theological and practical convictions that shape every aspect of our partnership. These paradigms frame how we live out our mission and vision together.
Theological Paradigm
We embrace the Theology of the Kingdom as revealed in the Kingdom Story and outline in the Gospel of the Kingdom. All ministry – local and trans local – is initially assessed through this Kingdom lens.
Church Paradigm
We believe the Church is God’s Temple on earth: the place of His presence, the agency of His reign, and the relational family of His people. We are living stones, joined by the Spirit, committed to accountable, loving relationships.
Leadership Paradigm
Jesus is our model for leadership. We value servant leadership that is anointed and led by the Spirit, humble, sacrificial, and empowering—shepherds laying down their lives for the Bride of Christ.
Ministry Paradigm
Jesus’ model was discipleship that multiplied. We commit to discipling believers toward maturity and to catalysing societal transformation through Gospel-rooted leadership.
01 — ORIGIN
Our
Story
Our story is one of countless narratives woven into the greater, unstoppable story of God's kingdom, led by King Jesus.
This meta-story of the kingdom is central: it defines us, inspires us, and drives our mission and vision.
How We Began
Catalyst Connect emerged as local church leaders sought meaningful partnership.
Originally known as Metro, we renamed to Catalyst Connect to represent God's work beyond one region and position ourselves prophetically.
02 — INTENT
Our
Purpose
We're part of the movement Jesus initiated through the Spirit at Pentecost.
As Catalyst Connect, we're a unique expression of this movement, embracing Ephesians 4's graces to see Jesus' church participate in His kingdom initiative.
We believe God has endorsed Catalyst Connect to stand alongside other church networks and families for the Great Commission.
03 — FUTURE
Moving
Forward
With affirmation from the Holy Spirit and endorsement from those involved, we're courageously forging ahead as a family of churches.
We acknowledge these are early days.
Building with humility and faith, we aim to fulfil Jesus' Great Commission through purposeful partnership—equipping believers, developing leaders, and growing churches via apostolic partnerships.
